    Dr. Clare Kiely

    Clare Kiely is a Consultant Dermatologist, Dermatological and Laser surgeon at the prestigious St Johns Institute of Dermatology, London and HCA Lister Hospital, Chelsea, London. She is highly specialised in a wide range of dermatological issues, with a specific interest in photodamage, skin cancer, mohs micrographic surgery, acne, acne scarring, and aesthetic dermatology. She has completed fellowships in Dermato-oncology and Mohs surgery in St Johns institute of Dermatology. She is an honorary lecturer in skin ageing and aesthetics in the University of Manchester where she completed the her masters degree. She is current Chair of the Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority and is on the executive committee of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group. Dr Kiely is an active researcher in skin cancer with numerous peer-reviewed publications. She is an expert in squamous cell carcinoma & has led the supra-specialty non-melanoma skin cancer team at Guys Hospital. She is an invited speaker nationally & internationally on skin cancer treatment, Mohs surgery, lasers, photo ageing treatments and aesthetics.

    Chris Griffiths is Emeritus Professor of Dermatology, University of Manchester, Adjunct Professor, King’s College London and a Consultant Dermatologist, King’s College Hospital. He qualified in medicine from St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School and trained in dermatology at St Mary’s Hospital and the University of Michigan. In 2015, he received the Sir Archibald Gray Medal for outstanding service to British Dermatology, and in 2019 the BSID Medal for contributions to research. Chris was appointed OBE “for services to dermatology” in the 2018 Queen’s New Year Honours. He is a former President of the European Society for Dermatological Research, the European Dermatology Forum, the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), and the International Psoriasis Council, which he co-founded in 2004. Chris has 791 PubMed-cited articles and is Editor-in-Chief of Rook’s Textbook of Dermatology and Rook’s Dermatology Handbook and received a lifetime achievement award from the American Skin Association in 2009. Professor Griffiths is past-President of the British Association of Dermatologists, European Dermatology Forum, British Society for Investigative Dermatology and International Psoriasis Council (which he co-founded in 2004). He was part of the team in Michigan that demonstrated that topical retinoids are efficacious in the management of ageing skin. Professor Chris Griffiths and his team have provided strong support to the success of all generations of Boots No7 anti-ageing serums and the No7 skincare range as a whole.

    Dr Tamara Griffiths is a senior Consultant Dermatologist at the Dermatology Centre, Salford Royal Hospital NHS Trust, one of the UK’s largest training programmes. She is Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester, a world-leading centre for dermatological research. She is also an American Board-Certified dermatologist with an international educational reach. From 2008 she was Dermatology Training Programme Director for the North Western Deanery, and in 2015 was appointed chair of Dermatology Specialist Advisory Committee for the Royal College of Physicians, responsible for all aspects of postgraduate dermatology training in the UK, including the development and implementation of the GMC 2021 Dermatology Curriculum. After launching the BAD’s British College of Dermatology in 2021, she was appointed as inaugural Education Vice President in 2023. Dr Griffiths has acted as advisor to the Department of Health’sReview of the Regulation of Cosmetic Interventions led by Sir Bruce Keogh published in 2013. She was instrumental in developing the Health Education England curricula and training frameworks for non-surgical cosmetic interventions (2015) and is a founding member and trustee of the Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority (CPSA), which launched in partnership with the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) at the House of Lords in 2018. She is Medical Programme Director for the University of Manchester MSc in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine, developed in 2013 and now recognised as the gold standard in the UK and internationally, and is the Cosmetic Dermatology section editor for Rook’s Textbook of Dermatology. Her clinical team was awarded BMJ Dermatology Team of the Year in 2018, and in 2021 she was recognised by the British Association of Dermatologists as Clinician of the Year. In July 2024 she commenced her two year term as President of the British Association of Dermatologists.

    With over 25 years of experience, our esteemed Dermatologist has been serving as a Consultant Dermatologist at St John’s Institute of Dermatology and the Joint Tumour Service at Moorfields Eye Hospital since 1996. Specialising in skin cancer management, including Mohs’ surgery, cutaneous laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology, he is a distinguished figure in the field. Notably, he holds the prestigious title of Founding President of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group and has served as President of the St John's Dermatology Society in 2009/10. His extensive contributions have also been recognised at the national level, as he represented the British Academy of Cosmetic Practice as a BAD and BCDG representative from 2007 to 2016. With a remarkable career dedicated to dermatology, our Dermatologist remains committed to providing exceptional care and advancing the field through his clinical expertise and groundbreaking research.
